Cynthia Koskiewicz's Bio:

Cynthia Koskiewicz had worked in a corporate environment for over 10 years before making the transition to helping people reclaim the power of their hearts.   Born in Chicago and raised in the nearby suburbs, Cynthia graduated from Roosevelt University with her Masters in Clinical Professional Psychology.  Cynthia has helped people in a variety of settings.  While residing in Vermont for two years, Cynthia lived and worked in a residential work-program facility for adults with mental illness and substance abuse diagnoses.  Cynthia has also worked in outpatient clinics serving adolescents, adults and their families cope with chemical dependence and emotional disorders.  After returning to her native Chicagoland, Cynthia worked one-on-one with clients using neurofeedback, a type of biofeedback that uses the power of our brainwaves to restore emotional and mental balance. Cynthia also worked in an outpatient facility helping people challenged by opiate addiction and other emotional disorders, such as depression, anxiety, and trauma.  Cynthia has facilitated a number of Women's Groups focusing on increasing self-esteem, assertiveness, and improving communication skills. Cynthia now sees clients in her private practice in Glen Ellyn, helping individuals and couples improve their relationship skills and find inner peace and balance.

    CVSAS is the designated substance abuse service agency providing effective alcohol and other drug outpatient and intensive outpatient treatment services for adults and adolescents in the Greater Washington County area. In my role as a Substance Abuse Intern Clinician, I provided outpatient counseling for adults and adolescents in individual, group, family therapy settings. I also co-facilitated weekly IOP ( Intensive Outpatient Program) group for adults.

    Spring Lake Ranch is a residential work-program focused treatment facility in rural Vermont. In my role as House Advisor, I lived and worked in a dormitory-style house with residents with MI & SA diagnoses.
